ABOUT THE BRAND

Our Story.

Some things are inherited, like an affinity for Corvette-red nails paired with gaudy gold rings, and commanding a room with quiet, confident ease. Sucré Couture was born from that kind of inheritance.

Founded by Dr. Kimberly Fomby Jefferson—Creative Director, Jeweler, and Cultural Scholar—Sucré Couture is a demi-fine jewelry and editorial lifestyle haus based in the San Francisco Bay Area and anchored in Black culture, matriarchy, and femininity.

Launched in 2011, the brand has always been a love letter: to the 80s and 90s—the blueprint. And to the aunties, grandmothers, and mothers who wore their jewelry like armor and their style like scripture. Kimberly's vision is shaped by both memory and scholarship, as she draws on Black folklore, the blues, hip hop, and R&B—conjoining culture and adornment into wearable and visual artifacts.

Every collection at Sucré Couture is an act of unapologetic, provocative, and raw storytelling. Our heirloom-quality pieces are designed to last as long as your legacy.

SINCERELY, SUCRE
