Sucré Couture is no stranger to storytelling. It’s a large part of what the brand is rooted in. Since its inception in 2011, every piece of jewelry created has been shaped by memory and cultural study, drawing on Black art and folklore—conjoining culture and adornment into wearable and visual artifacts. Now Sucré is bringing its storytelling to your podcast feeds. This first episode is special. It celebrates the launch of “Undaunted by the Fight,” a collection created in collaboration with the National Alumnae Association of Spelman College. This collection serves as a visual artifact of the Spelman legacy. A legacy that continues through the lives and work of Spelman Alumnae. Alumnae like our guest, Lynae Vanee.

NAACP Image Award-winning digital content creator, educator, poet, and Host of “The People’s Brief”, Lynae Vanee is shaping her own legacy and in this episode she shares with us how she’s shaping it – with precision, eloquence, clarity and care.
